The Upwardbound Series of camps was first conceived as a platform in which the YFers could get to build deeper bonds with their friends, both Christian and Non-Christian.

Why is it Up-ward and not Out-ward? We believe that our True North lies heavenward; our directions in life oriented upwards, and our calling: to be signposts, compasses and markers pointing the way for others to thread. It is upward bound because we recognise that despite of our many imperfections, our outlook remains that of striving for perfection.
