My Learning Style
My learning style is visual learning. Visual
learning is using graphical ways of working with ideas and presenting
information. They also stimulate creative thinking. Students see how
ideas are connected and realize how information can be grouped or
organized. With visual learning, new concepts are more thoroughly and
easily understood. For instance,
watching and educational program on television.
Integrating My Learning Style
Math is a subject that requires perfection or it
is wrong. For me, it is hard for me to understand what I am supposed to
do
on a problem if all the teacher gives me is an equation. To help me get
the right answer, the teacher could show examples on different types of
problems
so I can have a visual aid to go by. If I have this visual aid I can
check
my own work against the example.
Favorite Lesson
My favorite
lesson happened last year in 8th grade science. My science teacher took
us on a field trip to the National Renewable Lab. On this trip, we
learned how to save energy and how to help our environment. After the
learning, we got to experiment and play with
all of the interesting exhibits they had to offer. Undoubtedly, it was
the
best class and lesson I ever had.
