Dr. Herbert H.C. Iu
     BEng(Hons), PhD, MIEEE, MIEE

Biography:

Dr. Herbert H.C. Iu received the BEng(Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 1997. He received the PhD degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 2000. He worked as a research fellow in the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, HKPU. 

In 2002, he became a Lecturer in the School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, The University of Western Australia. His research interests include analysis and control of nonlinear dynamics in power electronic circuits. He has published over 20 papers in these areas. He is a member of IEEE and IEE. 

In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, squash, golf, table-tennis, gym and bridge. Moreover, he likes going to movies, concerts and dramas. Sometimes, he sits down and has a drink with his "old" friends, and chats.
