I now own the 3 Special Edition Episodes (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) and Star Wars Episode I on VHS. I am waiting with baited breath to obtain my copy of the 4 CD Box set coming out in September.
Out of the Expanded Universe/NJO (New Jedi Order), I have a number of favorite characters, not the least of which is Mara Jade (OK, I think she's the best thing to come down Luke Skywalker's way since...well you know...his sister and we're not going to go into the moral ethics of that). As you know, I've always thought the Skywalker-Jade pairing was one of the best things that Tim Zahn did for the entire Star Wars Universe and naturally, George Lucas must be in Tim's debt.
I'm also certain that you are all wondering if I collected the Mara Jade action figure (Guys don't call them dolls, we call them action figures, we have a sort of a complex about that)...the answer is 'yes'. And yes, you will have to torture me since it is NOW out of the box.
