| A COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION |
| The Hubbard County D.A.C and Bearly Used are run by a volunteer Board of Directors. Donations and cash sales help pay for the maintenance and utility expenses of our building, and staff and supervision for our clients so that they may have jobs and be an integral part of our community. Bearly Used also provides emergency assistance to people in need referred to us by outside agencies. |
| Merchandise is donated by area residents and businesses. If you are interested in making a donation, here are a list of items that are frequently accepted as donations: Clothing, that is clean and in good condition Dishes, knick-knacks Books, magazines, puzzles Children's toys and books Coats, suits, ties, belts, shoes Jewelry and accessories Furniture (in decent condition), sofas, chairs, tables, stands, book shelves, entertainment centers, etc. Smaller appliances such as tosters, toaster ovens, microwaves, blenders, mixers, light fixtures, televisions, stereos, etc. Sporting goods such as skis, fishing gear, etc. Just about everything is accepted as a donation. If you plan to bring a larger item, we request that you call in advance to ensure that we have adequate space to store the item, or if you need assistance with unloading it. |
