Description:
-----------
This program is a brand new Atari2600 simulated game.
As the old classics, this game is about reflects and skill;
Defensor 2600 will push your time-reaction to the limit!
Beware! Use this software only if you are an authentic retrogamer
(not recommended for teenagers or 3DFx fans).

This game was written only for fun; no money, no registration, nothing.
Send any comment if you want to contribute. * Donations also allowed :)

Features:

+ Addictive game play with a variety of enemies and a final boss for
  each level. (also note that higher levels have more difficulty)

  Level-4 w/guided laser)
+ Difficulty switch A-B (expert-novice)
+ High scores support (to reset records, delete the memcard.dat file)
+ Keyboard and Joystick operated (see below for info on how to connect
  a real Atari2600 joystick)
+ It's FREE!

Quick instructions:
------------------
You are the green ship, you need to kill enemies before they kill you.
(what an original idea! isn't it?)
You need also to collect bombs to defeat the final boss, to get these
bombs (rockets) move your ship up, but keep in mind that you can't move
freely and you can't use the laser while the ship is flying! Also you
may avoid enemies by moving the ship up... not so high! (you will die
if the ship does touch the electric field).
Advice: To defeat the boss it's not necessary to shot directly to the
big ship, you only need to pass the rocket through the moving hole.
You can get an extra life when the score reach +25,000 (25,000; 50,000;
75,000; 100,000 and so on), don't worry you will earn 10,000 points
at the end of each level.
That's all. (playing the game is the best way to learn how to play)
