As of this time, The Race To Save The Lord God Bird is not listed on the Library of Congress' website. Thus, I have been unable to verify it's original/first publication date through this source. However, I did attend a book talk presentation given by the author himself on April 14, 2005 at the Dallas Museum of Natural History, and was able to verify with Phillip Hoose that the first publication occurred in 2004.
