| Duke and Rommey Romes faced off in the opening match, both making their debut in HBW. The match started off with both men sizing eachother up a little buit. Duke gave RR a huge clothsline out of nowhere very early in the match, followed by a DDT to Rommey Romes. RR got back on his feet and delivered a modified STF. After Duke recieved a fury of punches, he was able to get up and whip RR into a wall. Duke started to get his momentum back. RR clothslined Duke again puting the match back in his favor. RR really set the pace of the match when he gave Duke a HUGE german suplex, almost throwing Duke across the ring. Once again both men were back on their feet, it was more back and forth action, and more attempts to destroy eachother. Duke went for a few punches but was blocked each time, then rommey romes saw the advantage to hit his finisher the EMT, a double arm spike DDT. Rommey Romes went for the pin and got the 1...2...3. |
