Revised Sept. 6, 2005
Information about school clubs and afterschool activities can be found on the HBMS website.  Listen during morning announcements for information about new clubs and changes in schedules.
Remember:  You always need written parent permission to stay after school!  Forms are available from the office.
A 6th Grade Science Club will start in November.
Interested students on both teams can get a permission form from either Mrs. Jenner or from Miss Whittington.
Science Club will meet to do some fun and different science activities and to prepare for the 2006 New Castle County Public School Science Olympiad for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
We can only take two teams, so attendance is important.
There will be a test in January to select team members.
Watch for details about this year's Chemistry for Kids program one Saturday morning in October.
Your 6-B/6-A science teachers will have a flyer for interested students.  Attendance is limited to 5-10 kids, so don't wait to sign up!  Kids last year loved it.
There will also be a special Chemistry Day for families, to celebrate National Chemistry Week.
