God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you
And whispered, "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best
"Just If"

If tomorrow,
I should never wake up,
I wanted to say I'm sorry.
I'm sorry for what I've done,
And what I haven't done.
I could have done more,
I should have done more.
If I harmed you,
Yelled at you,
Ignored you,
Or didn't care...
I'm sorry.
If tomorrow,
I should never wake up,
I wanted to say thank you.
If me and you were the best of friends,
Thank you for always being there.
If me and you only talked once and a while,
And didn't go to the same parties,
And we weren't good friends,
Thank you for humbling me.
You are not perfect, but I am not either,
But thank you for having a part in my life.
If tomorrow,
I should never wake up,
I just wanted to say everything I never had time to.

21 Things to Remember

5.  Success stops when you do.
6.  When your ship comes in...make sure you are willing to             unload it.
7.  You will never "have it all together."
8.  Life is a journey...not a destination.  Enjoy the trip!
9.  The biggest lie on the planet: "When I get what I want, I will      be happy."
10. The best way to escape your problem is to solve it.
11. I've learned that ultimately, 'takers' lose and 'givers' win.
12. Life's precious moments don't have value, unless they're             shared.
13. If you don't start, it's certain you won't arrive.
14. We often fear the thing we want the most.
15. He or she who laughs....lasts!
16. Yesterday was the deadline for all complaints.
17.  Look for opportunities...not guarantees.
18.  Life is what's coming...not what was.
19.  Success is getting up one more time.
20.  Now is the most interesting time of all.
21.  When things go wrong...don't go with them.
Close Your Eyes... And Go Back...

Way back.......
I'm talkin' bout hide and go seek at dusk.

Running through the sprinkler.

Christmas morning.......
Your first day of school.

Climbing trees.
Getting an Ice Cream off the Ice Cream Truck.
A million mosquito bites and sticky fingers.
Jumpin down the steps.
Jumpin on the bed.
Pillow fights.
Runnin till you were out of breath.
Laughing so hard that your stomach hurt.
Being tired from playin'....
Your first crush......
Rainy days at school meant playing "Heads up 7Up" in the class room.
Remember that?

I'm not finished yet....
Kool-aid was the drink of summer.
Totting your friends on your handle bars.
Wearing your new shoes on the first day of school.
Class Field Trips.

When nearly everyone's mom was at home when the kids got there.
When a quarter seemed like a fair allowance and another quarter a miracle.
When any parent could discipline any kid, or feed him or use him to carry
groceries, and nobody, not even the kid, thought a thing of it.
When your parents took you to McDonalds and you were so cool.
When being sent to the principal's office was nothing compared to the fate that awaited a misbehaving student at home.

Basically, we were in fear for our lives, but it wasn't because of drive by shootings, drugs, gangs, etc.
Our parents and grandparents were a much bigger threat!
And some of us are still afraid of em!!!

I want to go back to the time when............  Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-mo" Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming, "do over!"
"Race issue"; meant arguing about who ran the fastest.
Money issues were handled by whoever was the banker in Monopoly.
Catching the fireflies could happily occupy an entire evening.
It wasn't odd to have two or three "best" friends.
Being old, referred to anyone over 20.

The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties.
Nobody was prettier than Mom.
Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better.
It was no big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the "big people" rides at the amusement park.

Getting a foot of snow was a dream come true.
Abilities were discovered because of a "double-dog-dare".
Spinning around, getting dizzy and falling down was cause for giggles.
The worst embarrassment was being picked last for a team.
Water balloons were the ultimate ultimate weapon.

If you can remember most or all of these, then you have LIVED!!!!
Murphy's Laws
Murphy's First Law: Nothing is as easy as it looks.
Murphy's Second Law: Everything takes longer than you think.
Murphy's Third Law: In any field of scientific endeavor, anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
Murphy's Fourth Law: If there is a possibility of several  things  going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong.
Murphy's Fifth Law: If anything just cannot  go  wrong, it will anyway.
Murphy's Sixth Law: If you perceive that there are four  possible ways in which a procedure can go wrong and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop.
Murphy's Seventh Law: Left to themselves, things tend to go  from bad to worse.
Murphy's Eighth Law: If everything seems to be  going  well,  you have obviously overlooked something.
Murphy's Ninth Law: Nature always sides with the hidden flaw.
Murphy's Tenth Law: Mother Nature is a bitch.
Murphy's  Eleventh  Law: It  is  impossible  to  make   anything foolproof, because fools are so ingenious.
A woman will get only what she seeks
Choose your goals carefully
Know what you like
and what you do not like
Be critical about what you can do well
and what you cannot do well
Choose a career or lifestyle that interests you
and work hard to make it a success
but also have fun in what you do
Be honest with people and help them if you can
but dont depend on anyone
to make life easy or happy for you
(only you can do that for yourself)
Be strong and decisive
but remain sensitive
Understand who you are
and what you want in life
before sharing your life with someone
When you are ready to enter a relationship
make sure that the person is worthy of
everything you are physically and mentally
Strive to achieve all that you want
Find happiness in everything you do
Love with your entire being
Love with an uninhibited soul
Make a triumph
of every aspect
of your life
-by Susan Polis Schutz
Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived; happiness, sadness, knowledge, and all the others, including love.

One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave.

Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under, Love decided it
was time to leave. She began looking for someone to ask for help.

Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked, "Richness, Can I come with you on your boat?"  Richness answered, " I'm sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."

Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel.
Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please."
"I can't help you." Vanity said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."

Next, Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with you."
Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but, I just need to be alone now."

Then, Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, "Happiness, please take me with you." But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to him.

Love began to cry. Then, she heard a voice say, "Come Love, I will take you with me."

It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name.

When they arrived on land the elder went on his way.  Love realized how much she owed the elder.

Love then found Knowledge and asked, "Who was it that helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"But why did Time help me when no one else would?," Love asked.
Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered,
"Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."

Just Because

Just because no one has been fortunate enough to realize what a gold mine you are,
Doesn't mean you shine any less.

Just because no one has been smart enough to figure out that you can't be topped,
Doesn't stop you from being the best.

Just because no one has come along to share your life,
Doesn't mean that day isn't coming.

Just because no one has made this race worth while,
Doesn't give you permission to stop running.

Just because no one has come to take the loneliness away,
Doesn't mean you have to settle for a lower quality.

Just because no one has shown up who can love you on your level,
Doesn't mean you have to sink to theirs.

Just because you deserve the very best there is,
Doesn't mean that life is always fair.

Just because God is still preparing your king or queen,
Doesn't mean that you're not already royalty.

Just because your situation doesn't seem to be progressing right now,
Doesn't mean you need to change a thing.

Keep shining,
Keep running,
Keep hoping,
Keep praying,
Keep being exactly what you are already -

Have you ever had a dream, where it was so real, and so good, and you were having so much fun, that when you woke up, and realized that you were not where you wanted to be, you just lost it? Have you ever felt so lonely and been so afraid that you wish you could grab hold of something, grab hold of someone, but you find that no one's there?

Have you ever been so angry and so frustrated that you wanted to blow the world up into a thousand million tiny pieces just so you could watch them all burn? Have you ever wanted something so bad, so much, that you could see it, that you could feel it, that you could almost taste it, but it always seems to slip away before you could call it your own? Have you ever tried so hard, went so far, pushed it to the limits, only to find yourself falling short? Have you ever wanted to impress someone, that you take three hours to get ready, dancing and laughing at yourself in the mirror, knowing that they will think you look absolutely breathtaking, only to have them not even notice you at all?

Have you ever cried so long and so hard, like life as you knew it was coming to an end, hoping that someone would hear you and run to your side and hold you in their arms, only to see that no one was coming down the road? Have you ever been in love, filled your heart to the brim with admiration and adoration for someone, thinking about them everyday, being satisfied with seeing just a glimpse of them, hoping for one moment of contact, dreaming about them in the night, wishing that you were with them, only to have them turn you away?

Have you ever had your heart broken, had your dreams crumble before your eyes, seen all your wishes turn to dust, all your hard work go down the tubes, had the one person you cared about most in the world not feel the same way? -- Author Unknown
We Learn
We're born into this world without much of a choice
We can't choose our appearance or the sound of our voice.
We make new friends and then watch them move away
We learn that goodbye never gets easier to say
We fall in love so easily, then wind up getting hurt
We learn to get past the pain and try to make those relationships work
We learn that we can't control what destiny may bring
We learn to accept our limits, we can't do everything.
We learn that our true friends are those who stick by our side
We learn that we can't get through life whining, but it's sometimes okay to cry
We learn that every tear we cry only makes us stronger
We learn to get through the rough days by holding on a little longer
We learn that each day holds a new lesson, the learning is never done
And those who think they know it all have only just begun.
"You're never gone.
You're with me still.
It's so hard sometimes--it's so hard all the time to go on without you, always wondering.
I stop at random moments and wonder where you are and what you're doing right at that exact second.
It's so damn hard to go on without you, but you showed me the strength
and the beauty in myself and it is that strength and beauty that help me go on without you in my life,
but forever in me."

--Dorothy-Ann Parent
All your life you are told the thing you cannot do, all your life they will say youre not good enough or strong enough or talented enough, theyll say youre the wrong height or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. They will tell you no, a thousand times no until all the nos become meaningless, all your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly. They will tell you no, and you will tell them yes.
