John currently lives in Philadelphia, PA area with his wife and daughter. He works
as a project manager for a medical software publishing corporation.John was born in Jackson, MS, but moved to New York at age 15. After graduating high school, John attended the State University of New York at Albany, where he met his roommate and future bandmate Mark Schaefer. With a degree in Business Administration, John moved to New York City where he lived for four years working in the book publishing industry. In 1994, John relocated to Florida living in Jacksonville and Gainesville. While in Florida, John married Joy and had their first (and only to date) child. In 1999, John and family returned to New York. In 2000, they again moved to Philadelphia where they hope to stay for a while. |
Mark was born in the snowy climes of Buffalo, New York. At age 5, he and
his family moved to Center Brunswick, NY, just outside Troy. Mark attended
SUNY Albany where he met his future bandmate, John Henderson. Mark received
a B.A. and an M.A. in Russian Language and Literature before moving to
Washington D.C. in 1991 to attend law school.
After practicing law for five years, Mark decided upon a slightly different course and entered divinity school at Wesley Theological Seminary in 1999. He expects to graduate from Wesley in 2002 and enter the United Methodist ministry. Mark is presently serving as United Methodist chaplain at American University, which neighbors the Wesley campus. In addition to his theological studies, he is very active in the movement to obtain full voting representation for the people of the District of Columbia. Mark still lives in Washington, D.C. and hopes to for some time. |
