RANDY






Randy Reigelsperger began playing drums at the age of 13. He took lessons from Jimmy Green. (House drummer at Annarino's, instructor at the University of Dayton, and author of "System 21") Randy played in his parent's band The Regal Orchestra and Combo, playing local clubs and private parties. He started playing professionally at the age of 15. At the age of 18 Randy went on the road playing with bands such as Goin' Home, Sunrise, Squeez, Relay, Savage Grace, The Take, and UNBOUND. During the course of his career Randy has opened for such bands as the original Platters, the original Drifters, Wayne Cochran and the CC Riders, REO Speedwagon, Bad Company, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Firehouse, Foreigner, Bonham, Winger, Adam Ant, Todd Rundgren's Utopia, Zebra, Vandenburg, Lita Ford, Molly Hatchet, Kix, Foghat, Red Rider, Saigon Kick, Warrant, Lillian Axe, Joe Lynn Turner(Rainbow), Gary Richrath, The Hunger, Saxon, LA Guns, and played at the WEBN Fireworks. Some of Randy's main influences are Buddy Rich, Lenny White, and John Bonham. He had the honor of meeting Buddy Rich at Suttmiller's where Jimmy Green was the house drummer, and also had the honor of opening for John Bonham's son Jason Bonham! Randy grew up in Huber Heights, Ohio and currently lives in Middletown, Ohio.
