| HISTORIC BAPTIST DOCTRINE ______________ What Sinner Wants To Be Saved? |
| A lot of people say "God is sovereign, BUT we do what we want." What if God wanted to save a person, but that person did not want to be saved and he dies and goes to Hell. Was God sovereign? You can't have it both ways. If God is sovereign, then He does what He wants.
QUESTION - What sinner wants to be saved? ANSWER - The sinner that has had his heart changed by God. Free-will is a myth. No, it is a LIE! Every sinner hates the Light and will not come to it to have life. So God has to give life where there is no life. Salvation is totally of the Lord. The only reason that anyone has life and desires the Lord is because God made it so and when God sets out to make it so, He does not fail or do you say that God is a failure? God forbid for thinking that God can't do something that He wants to do. What did God say that He would do to the heart of stone? What heart is to hard for the Lord? Does God need permission from the sinner to save him? What spiritually dead sinner would give God permission to save him? What sinner can resist the will of the Sovereign God of the Universe?
