| Hello Mr.Vike: It's my pleasure to contact with you again here and I would like to send you more information about it. The piece was found in the Beiben River, Keichou province (south western China) by a local rock collector by chance in last August, and at first he did not know anything about it and did not pay any attention on it, just puts it on the rock shelves for half year. On the Feb. 6th this year (2002), a collector from Shangshai was very exciting and eagerly wants to buy after seeing this unusual one, then the farmer has seemed to understand something, but he still does not quite know about it,and still inquires some people about it. I went there and took few pictures last month after hearing the story from a friend. It's sure that the whole piece is natural formed except the small iron like piece. The matrix was eroded and rolled in the river for many many years and gets perfectly round, however the iron piece is still sharp on edge and very shining on surface, also about 1.5mm higher than the matrix. The size of the piece is 3.5 x2.8 CM,matrix is 18x10x6 CM. I will let you know more if there is any other information. Here is its another picture. |
