| Laval, QC June 13, 2001, 1:15 AM A friend and I were walking back home on that night, at approximattely 1:15am. We were both looking at the sky, cause Mars is easily observable these nights...Then, our look was captivated by a star-like light much brighter than the others, and it appeared quite nearer than the other stars... We starred at this light, it was standing still. Then it started to move upwards, and at the same time, it started to faint, just like if it was moving away from us at a fast speed, until it became a very small spot and disapeared. We were both astonished and wondering if there were any reports made this night... Thanks for awering... ((name deleted)) Thanks To NUFORC Vaudreuil, QC January 1, 2001, 6:45 PM During breakfast with my family I noticed from my patio window an extreamly bright object in the southern sky. It hovered for about 3-4 mins. at approximately 500-700ft above the tree lines and highway below. Traffic on the highway below was moving rapidly but other motorists must have noticed this object just from it's sheer brilliance. After hovering for some time the object proceeded to move slowly West following Hwy.20 below. Stopped and proceeded East along the higway slowly at first then gatering speed as it proceeded East. As the object moved it left a trail infront and behind of the craft. As it moved it also changed shape, from cigar shaped to saucer shaped. Hudson, QC January 18, 2001, 6:54 PM This takes place in the dark of night. As I was driving my car into town my attention was drawn to an object in the sky with flashing lights (red and blue, I think). I at first assumed that it was an airplane. Then I realized that it seemed to be slower and closer to the tree tops than I would expect from an airplane. There were no other cars coming so I stopped the car on the road and watched as the object seemed to stay in one place. There were lights on it. I believe they were red and blue. They were flashing as they moved along the length of tubelike thing. I was just about to roll down my window so I could hear better when it took off very fast and smoothly with it's long edge forward. I watched as the lights flashed across the tube until it disappeared from my sight. Montreal, QC March 27, 2001, 2:20 AM At 2:20am, as I was watching TV (Jay Leno), I saw something fly right over mine and my neighbor's houses at quite a speed. I couldn't tell what the object itself was, but whatever it was, it had a bright, intense, GREEN flame following it. There was abosolutely no noise, it didn't crash anywhere, so it must have just kept on going beyond my sight. The sky was clear, and nothing I've ever seen fly through the sky has ever looked like that under any circumstances. I contacted the local airport control tower to double check their radars, but they didn't return any information on the subject. Quebec City, QC April 29, 2001, 9:48 PM Sorry for my english, then I observed in the sky of Quebec close to Large the Bear with 0944 a shooting star in direction of the SO and thereafter a satellite towards north with 0946. Thereafter, I continued to look towards Large the Bear and an object moved South-west towards the North-East. It was about an object containing two semi-transparent pale lights d�plan�eant itself with a altitute satellites at an approximate speed in the neighbourhoods of 25000km/h. This time it was only bus I had already seen this type of objects with three in 1999 (on April 14 99). I was amazed because I believed that it was about " Irridium sense of smell " but I think that it was not the case. This object had a rectilinear trajectory and did not have any reflexion of the sun. It is in the shape of 2 semi-shields as a bird thus each one of its wings had a point which lit. There was no sound according to the effect Doppler. Surprising observation. I believed being the only one to see it kind. Quebec City, QC May 3, 2001, 10:00 PM (excuse me on my speaking english) i was walking home from the girlfriends home, and i went across a bright light moving fast in the sky. It was making rapid movements, making very sharp turns. The craft was givning off its own light, it changed shapes from a disc to a sort of cylinder object. It sounded like it was making a sort of a humming and buzzing sound, this is hard to describe. Thank you To The NUFORC For Above Reports Montreal, QC July 17, 2001, 8:30 PM Two high flying white objects 5 minutes apart. I was sitting on the backyard deck of my house located in the downtown Montreal area when I noticed a small white object, almost directly overhead and very high in the sky. It was moving slowly true north to true south. At first I thought that it was the setting sun reflecting on a satellite. I lost sight of it when it passed over my house. But about five minutes later, I saw the same object again (or was it another one?) moving in the exact same path and speed. I called my son to come out and he saw it too. This time, when it moved over my house, I went in front the house and continued to watch it for about 2-3 minutes , until I lost sight of it, approximately 45 degrees over the southern horizon. There was no sound or contrail. Is it possible that 2 satellites follow each other so closely in the same orbit? I am an engineer and so is my son.
