Trois Rivieres, Quebec

October 15, 1996, 11:00 PM

On Tuesday, October 15, 1996, at 11:00 PM, Yves Anger of Montreal and his girlfriend were driving west on Highway 40 near Trois Rivieres, Quebec when Yves spotted "three unknown objects in the northern sky." The condition of the sky was clear, he reported, and the UFOs "were triangular in form, very big" and had "a variation of green, blue, red and yellow lights blinking." One of the objects then aimed "a terrible light" at their car and kept them bathed in its incandescence for at least 20 minutes. The three UFOs were seen by 60 other witnesses.

The night of Sunday, October 6, 1996, a motorist driving on Route 417 near Embrun, Quebec saw "a ball of light gleaming in the sky the size of two full moons. The colors were changing from orange to pink." The UFO flew parallel to the highway at an altitude of 300 feet (95 meters). Just after 1:00 AM, the UFO crossed Route 417 ahead of the driver and flew away to the south, where it vanished.

Quebec City, Quebec, Canada

October 19, 1996, 11:45 PM

On Saturday, October 19, 1996 at 11:45 PM, Al Martinez, an engineer at Laval University, was at home on Highway 132, on the south bank of the St. Lawrence River, about six miles (8 kilometers) southwest of Quebec City. Suddenly, Martinez noticed "a very strange and unusual flying wing (hovering) over his backyard. " A few moments later, a dazzlingly bright beam enveloped his house, and the building began to vibrate.

A few houses away, a neighbor coming home from work saw the UFO hovering over the Martinez home. Hearing the rumbling noise, he and two other neighbors joined the stunned and shaken Martinez in the yard, watching as the UFO flew away.

Many Thanks to Jean Casault of CEIPI.

Two of my friends and I were in my yard in Park Extension and we were fooling around, when one of us looked up and saw the strangest thing. We saw clouds with three lights forming a triangle. They would rotate once, then stop, then join onto each other and make one circle. They would break and form a triangle and continue like before. It went on for some time, I again witnessed this a few years later.

These three photos come from a kind person who stumbled across these photographs while working at his job as a Digital Image Processor.
In 1996 I was working the 4:00 PM to midnight shift at Corbis. As a digital image processor, it was my job to color correct, clean dust from, and or some collections reconstruct damaged images. Every night I processed anywhere from 150-225 images.

In the middle of a group of images there were 3 or 4 shots of Notre Dame De Bonsecours Priez Pour Norms in Quebec, Canada.

Up in the left corner of one of the images (not on the screen, the actual slide) I saw something that caught my eye.
At first I thought it was a flaw in the film, but to be sure I pulled the original slide out of the sleeve, and looked at it with a lupe.

I did a double take, and opened the raw image, which was about 25 megabytes in size, and the image I sent are what I found.

I have cropped a copy of the section of the object, as well as one of the whole image. This is what you have seen. I took them out on a floppy disc.

Since 1996 I have just shown them to handful of people, but I thought they should be seen by as many people as possible. That's how I came across it. If you have any questions, please let me know, and also keep me informed as to what you might find. Anything I can do to help in this, or in any other research I will be glad to help. The paranormal has been an interest of mine since I was a child, and I have quite a reference library.

White light double the size of double the pinpoint size of the North Star coming extremely fast from the west, and slowing down to a full stop above our heads. It stayed there for 15 to 20 seconds. No trail no sound. I flicked my lighter to see if it would come and see us. It then took again in the same direction towards the west but at a very slow pace. Then with a double click it shut of its light. The night sky was full of stars and in its immobile state above our heads it was well camouflashed. Good thing ((deleted)) seen it coming, no clouds that night and no wind. No trail and the double click for shutting down its light had an electric feeling to it. As we were walking through the woods something came to visit me but ((name deleted)) and ((name deleted)) didn,t see this. Knowbody neither is there one single sighting reported with this type of creature, neither will I ever talk about it, that was a gift for that lighter clicking. I contacted an expert and such a creature does not exist. I am reporting only our sighting of the super fast white light because we were three to see it. Me and ((name deleted)) sent an e-mail yesterday, but we didn't use this form we sent it to the director I think, there is a better description. The day I see a sighting where there is creature similar to what I saw is the day I will talk about it. However nobody would of ever guessed this. I can only tell you that it is very small. September sunday the 10th 1995 at 9:12pm to 9:27pm is important an I believe this can be verified. If you have any questions about the white light it would be a pleasure for me to answer them for you.

St-Bruno, QC

December 15, 1994, 6:30 PM

It was very cold, so i was sitting in my car on this little side road off the trans-Canada highway through St-Julie, Quebec. I could see the rush hour traffic going buy slowly across the highway is Mount St-Bruno, a little mountain in the St-Lawrence valley. I was back then a master mechanic for a General Motors dealership, and in my spare time am an avid aircraft watcher, since we have airports all over. I am now a video editor for a large television network, so i hope this is enough to show you that i am sure of what i saw, and it was nothing i have ever seen before. Except maybe once when i was 16 when a friend of mine and i where scared out of our wits by something overhead, but thats another story. So, to get back to the task at hand. I'm sitting in my car, my head turn left watching the ski hill on the mountain and the cars going buy on the highway. To my right is the Dealer where i work. I turn my head front for a second and there it is, approx.200 feet from the ground hovering over the street just above the garage, a large red ball of light, i couldn't see a shape, more of a large glow. I couldn't believe it was i the only one seeing this, all those cars and those skiers. I got out of the car to get a better perception. There was no sound other than the traffic and that wasn't very noisy. Suddenly, the ball began to move over and across the highway very slowly. The thing was so large and so low i couldn't believe i was the only one seeing this, traffic kept moving and i was alone on the little street where i parked. It kept going until it reached a point just below the summet of the mountain in front of the lit ski hill, then al of a sudden it became a small point of red light, changed direction to follow the lenght of the mountain, then turned 180 degrees and headed for the ski hill again, then, this how i remember it, i saw the light fly over the ski hill still just below the summit, so i could see it very well, the it crossed the hill it then entered the woods beetween to light post at the top of the hill and then, just vanished. I have to tell you, my eyes never lied to me before, i was in going crazy thinking about it and going over it for weeks after that. To this day i don't know what i saw. I also have a couple of dreams that might interest you, well i think they where dreams.

UFO SEEN NEAR CANADIAN FORCES BASE

Tuesday evening, March 19, 1996, a dazzling "star-shaped" or "diamond-shaped" UFO crossed the Ottawa River into Quebec and startled nine workmen at a brickmaking plant. The sighting took place in Waltham Station, Quebec, a small town on Highway 148 just across the river from Pembroke, Ontario.

According to the Pembroke Observer, the UFO was spotted by Hector Brochu and eight other workmen at the Waltham Dry Kilns Co. just west of town. Mr. Brochu described the UFO as "a smooth star-shaped object about 45 centimeters in diameter." Other workmen described the object as "diamond-shaped" with four distinct corners.

When first spotted, the UFO was heading east, having just crossed the Ottawa River. It appeared to have come from the direction of the Canadian Forces Base at Petawawa, near Pembroke, but the Canadian military reported that they had nothing on radar.

The witnesses said the UFO halted as it reached the brickyard, hovered for about ten minutes, then flew eastward about a half mile. There it hovered for another twenty minutes, its bright light occasionally blinking on and off. At the end, the UFO winked out and disappeared.

More information can be had by contacting the city editor at the Pembroke Observer. The Phone number is (613) 732-3691.

TRIANGULAR UFO HOVERS OVER GATINEAU HOME

On Monday, November 4, 1996, at 8:45 p.m., Mrs. Ginette C., 32, of Gatineau, Quebec was driving home from the grocery store with her son, age 4. After parking her car, she made two trips into the house with bags of groceries. As she started up the walkway to the house a second time, with a grocery bag in each hand, a huge triangular vehicle appeared over the roof of the house.

Ginette described the UFO as "triangular...five times bigger than the full moon, dark with three globes of white light under each corner and one smaller (light) in the middle of a reddish color. The red one blinked repeatedly. The UFO was 300 feet (95 meters) wide and 50 feet above my head and was totally silent."

Ginette stared at it open-mouthed for three minutes. Then she overcome her suprise and paralysis and, not taking her gaze off the UFO, walked to the porch. She managed to open the door with one knee and yelled for her husband. Thinking there was a problem, Mr. C. appeared with their other son, age 7. "Look! Look up in the sky!" Ginette shouted. They both got a clear view of the UFO before "it turned to the south and flew towards Ottawa."

Gatineau (population 73,479) is in southwestern Quebec, just north of Ottawa, the national capital. This case was investigated by Denis Marquis and Gilles Latour of the CEIPI ufological study group. According to Marquis and Latour, "The description is consistent between all of them."

ORANGE GLOBES REPORTED OVER QUEBEC AND VERMONT

In addition to Arizona and West Virginia, "orange sphere" UFOs were also seen over Quebec. Since Friday, March 14, the ufological group CEIPI has interviewed 24 eyewitnesses.

Most of the sightings took place over Breckenridge, a small town on the north shore of the Ottawa River near Aylemer (population 25,724), just west of Canada's capital city, Ottawa.

On Friday, March 14, shortly before 8 p.m., a glowing orange light was seen over Breckenridge. Shortly after 8, a man in Gatineau, Quebec (population 73,479) eight miles (12 kilometers) north of Ottawa, saw "a definite orange light."

At 8:45 p.m., another man "saw the same thing but a little more yellow" over the Parc de la Gatineau, along the Ottawa River.

On Saturday, March 15, at 10:15 p.m., a total of 10 eyewitnesses told CEIPI that they saw "an unknown object" hovering close to the ice on the Ottawa River. The UFO had six arrays of white light and appeared in the same place in the Parc de la Gatineau off Route 148 as the previous night.

On Monday, March 17, at 9:50 p.m., another ten witnesses saw "a very brilliant and strong" aerial light glowing behind the mountain at Breckenridge.

According to Jean Casault of CEIPI, the Aylmer police reportedly told his group that the lights were "military flares" being lit on the firing range at CFB Connaught, near Ottawa.

Meanwhile, below the border, radio buff Tony O'Neill switched on his BC860XLT 100-channel 12-band Uniden Bearcat scanner. At 7:20 p.m. on Monday, March 17, he picked up an intriguing exchange between Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) and six jetliner pilots.

The pilots were talking to the ATCs in Albany, New York and Burlington, Vermont, he said. "One pilot radioed 'A bright light approached us, went vertical and dropped into the horizon.'"

The pilot asked both ATCs to confirm his position, and they did--the jetliner was 30 miles (48 kilometers) east of Burlington or 150 miles (240 kilometers) northeast of Albany. That puts the UFO over the forest area just south of Hardwick, Vermont (population 1,476)

Six pilots discussed the sighting with the towers, O'Neill said, describing the UFO as having "fire coming out of the back and left or made a contrail." Controllers asked the pilots if they would be willing to file a report. Some said yes and were given the phone number of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) center in Nashua, New Hampshire. (Email Interview)
