Toronto, Ontario

August 10, 1992, 10:00 PM

I was in my hotel room (The Delta Chelsea) in Toronto overlooking the city skyscrapers at 10:00 PM. I had been watching the sights for a few minutes, when suddenly, this blimp like pie looking object appeared between the buildings, traveling at a slow speed. It is hard to describe something, especially when you don't know what it is. The middle part of it extended outwards like a pie, and then tapered down toward the bottom. It had portholes lit up, and colored lights on it. The blue light was on it's left side. I thought it was an advertising blimp at the time, but there was no writing on it, and, it didn't look like a blimp, as the usual ones do. I was just watching it and thinking, I must take a photo, then it disappeared behind a skyscraper. I hurried to take my camera out of my bag, in case it appeared, but as it was an old camera. I didn't have time to fix the aperture, and when the thing - re-appeared, I just aimed the camera and clicked the button. I now have a photo of it, and it looks like I said it did. You can see the outer ridge in the middle. It nearly looks the same upside down, tapering to the middle top and middle bottom gradually. The other strange thing about it, there was absolutely no noise. If it was a plane or helicopter, as people tell me it could have been, there would have been noise. As I am a mature person I do know the difference between seeing a helicopter or plane. This was not either.

Between Lancaster & Cornwall, Ontario

December 11, 1997, 6:00 AM

While in the washroom I looked out the window to the west and observed a very big and bright planet (I thought); it then got bigger, it started to move towards out house, I then screamed to wake my husband and said "quick there's a flying saucer", he reached for the field glasses and in no time it had flown over the river (we live on the St. Lawrence River between Lancaster and Cornwall, Ontario) it then became much brighter and vanished in the east sky, maybe Montreal bound. There was a tiny red light behind it. It made no sound whatsoever.

Markham, Ontario

April 29, 1998, 11:00 PM

As I was driving westward towards my home, I saw something bright in the sky, sort of hovering, about 5 km away. At first I thought maybe I should analyze it to make sure it wasn't a plane. But, after some careful observation, I saw it was slowly descending and heading north. I accelerated my car and entered my neighborhood, where I lost sight of it because the object went behind the trees. I raced to the end of my street, and entered another one, where I caught sight of the object once more. It seemed to hover in it's place. It was still quite far away, but it distinctly looked like Saturn; a ball like middle with a ring around it. It had 4 flashing lights on it. It makes me think it was a plane, but I don' know of any planes that seem to hover in place. I went home, got my dad to come with me to investigate but, by the time we went back to my last place, the object was gone.

Wainfleet, Ontario

June, 1990, 10:15 PM

My family and I were outside that night just playing baseball, or some sport like that, in the dark when we looked up to the corn field that was beside the house. In the sky was at least 10 sphere shaped objects that were a white color. The weirdest thing though was that you could partially see right through them. They hovered above the ground for at least a half an hour and they were at tree top level. Then we saw a beam of light come out of them and it was almost pulsing. I, being young at the time didn't know what to think, they were only a block away from us. After the 30 minutes was up they just shot into the sky.

Toronto, Ontario

Date:  November 11, 1996
Time:  11:30 p.m.

Approach Direction: unknown

Departure Direction: south (and up)

Witness Direction: facing east initially

Description: sitting on driveway facing east, conversing with friend. conversation fades away as if both of us were falling asleep simultaneously, but not tired. with heads drooping, noticed incredible lights on floor, everywhere as if flooded with light, under vehicles, no shadows, looked like 2" wide hardwood floor strips. shocked by what I saw, I alerted my friend who seemed to awaken from a trance, and saw the same.

We looked back and up for source of light. saw ball of light directly above us. seemed very close and everything glowed very eerily. after what seemed like only a few moments, ball of light moved very slowly south and disappeared behind neighbor's roof. we ran down driveway (maybe 30') and saw nothing on other side of roof, but noticed ball of light miles away in sky still heading south, and then straight up, and away from earth.

There was no sound during the encounter, other than our gasps of amazement. immediately after we lost sight of it,
I was bursting with excitement trying to understand what had just happened, but my friend seemed to have been in some kind of denial or seemed to have some kind of mental block, because he was completely oblivious to everything I was saying for about 15 min. afterward and was compulsively trying to pick up an inane discussion at exactly the point he left off before the light appeared. he is still shaken up and refuses to talk about it to this day.

I have never reported it, but I believe the Toronto Star newspaper printed a picture of a greenish "meteor" on the front page the following day. also, when i went home about an hour later, I turned on the radio for some background noise and subsequently heard a flood of reports in which people were calling in and reporting incredible things in the sky, and each one of these "ordinary people" being put on the air described slight variations of the same type of occurrences and almost all said at some point "at first I thought maybe it might be a UFO or something like that, but then I realized it was nothing more than a meteor or shooting star".

I don't know what i saw exactly, but it was no meteor, and it has changed my outlook on life ever since. I would like the opportunity to discuss the event, and a couple less intense events, with a noted researcher if possible as I believe this was more than a simple sighting, something strange transpired and I need to know what.

Color/Shape: round light, almost like looking up at a spotlight, but more pure, and rounded

Height & Speed: could have been small and within 50' or could have been large at unknown height, hard to say when
it was above.

TV/Radio/Press: see "description of event" with this addition; t.v. newscasts on City T.V. (Toronto) and possibly on CHCH (Hamilton) broadcasting shots of what appear to be meteors, etc., but what we saw moved in very different directions at very different speeds.
