| Lindsay Ontario, Canada Labourday Weekend 1980, 9:00 PM Me and my 2 friends, Dave and Brad walked to the outskirts of Lindsay at about 9:00 PM down the old dump road north towards the annual labour day bush party just outside Lindsay. We stopped to divide a 1/2 ounce of Columbian into 3 (between us) we rolled one joint and smoked it standing at the south end of the dump road we all looked up and saw 3 huge lights that formed a triangle way up in the sky above the clouds we were amazed I said it was a UFO I took my lighter and held it up lighting it and said"come and get us" Brad said"don't say that". and the next thing I remember is the 3 of us standing much further down the road all 3 of us looking at the sky we started asking each other why we were just standing there looking at the sky we walked a couple of miles till we came to the edge of the forest that the party was in and a couple of people came out into the open we asked them why they were leaving they said the party was all over we didn't believe them saying"its only around 9 o'clock" they said that"it's about 3:00 AM" We went into the forest to the party spot,there was only one person at the campfire he told us it was a great party, it was all over, he was drunk,Brad didn't believe him there was empty beer bottles everywhere and no wood left to burn, me and Dave started to believe that it really could be 3 in the morning. We waited and no one else showed up so we walked back into Lindsay we argued the whole way ,and decided that we should climb the trees in the park beside the high school (L.C.V.I.) and each roll and smoke our own joints to our selves we were each up a different tree a helicopter came down from the sky and immediately put its super bright spotlight right on us We said to each other"hide your dope and run"we each ran right home we thought we were busted for sure. We came back the next day got our dope out of the trees but Brad had lost his .for weeks ,we used to go back there and look for it . The helicopter story was big we weren't sure what the lights were in the sky Dave remembers most events but places them on different occasions Brad doesn't remember any of it I started to piece it together and have come to believe we are missing about 6 hours that night in 1995 I had my only dream about the lights in the sky the light came down to our level and was so bright it was almost weakening Brad had a heart attack and died right on the old dump road I was awoken from my dream by a phone call which informed me that Brad's father had just died from a heart attack that morning. Lindsay is a government experimental town pop.12,000 in 1980 it has since changed its name to Kawartha city pop.20,000 I will not decide on who erased my memory or try to revive some false memory implant but I cannot forget that whole night I can see it as clear as day I warn everybody there's something afoot everybody laughs. | Deep River "Sphere Shaped Lights" The town of Deep river, located on the Ottawa River, was established as the residence community for the personnel employed by Atomic Energy of Canada at nearby Chalk River. Over the years reports of UFO activity over both the town of Deep River and the village of Chalk River with its nuclear reactors have been plentiful. "Bright sphere shaped lights have been traveling at phenomenal speeds through the trees and at least fifteen people have witnessed and recounted these bizarre occurrences. Sounds like science fiction ? Apparently all of the fifteen witnesses have seen more than they're willing to say, but all steadfastly refuse to return to the sea."
