| St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada October 10, 1998, 10:30 PM I live in the country and was returning home on foot from a friend's barn party. I had drunk about four beers. I was 1/2 way home when I saw three bright lights in a triangular formation high in the west - southwest sky and I thought it was a new type of landing light system (flying school nearby). As they got closer they seemed to be slowly heading towards me and they seemed to merge and became one very intense oval shape, I glanced at my watch and noticed that it was approx 10:30, also that the luminous hands numbers of my watch were glowing extremely brightly. I looked back at the light which then seemed quite close. The whole road seemed lit up when it suddenly went out. I thought at first there had been a crash, but no wreckage or smoke, nothing. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk from my friend's farm to my home. When I got in I went to see my wife who was in bed, she was watching the 10:00 NTV News. I cannot account for two hours. I didn't report this because I had no witnesses and didn't see the point of reporting it. But that missing 2 hours intrigue me. My wife can verify when I got home and my friend can verify when I left the party. Also I'm very reluctant to confess that I am getting odd, dreams since then involving what I call flash card seqences and other stuff. Sheshatshiu, Newfoundland 1990s, Evening. I am from a small native community and I have heard many times of people claiming to see a shape fly over them with no sound or light, but freaked them out. It has been repeated many times but this is not a daily or weekly occurrence, a few years ago something flew so low that kids thought a airplane crashed nearby, but then people said this was an alien ship. I didn't really follow much on the story, just a rumor that I heard since I didn't reside here 6 years ago. I haven't seen anything weird, there is a big military base where pilots train from around the world in Goose Bay. Unknown Old Road, Newfoundland December 18, 1997, 1:07 AM A friend and I were out camping and we could not get to sleep because it was cold that summer's night. We decided to light the fire at; according to my journal 1:00 AM. We had trouble getting the fire going, and at exactly 2 minutes later a light lit the sky above the clouds. It suddenly became warmer like down in Mexico. We heard a strange noise coming from the clouds, it was like a choirs of people humming a song. We were mesmerized ! The light became brighter and changed color, and changed from green to purple. A light purple according to my friend and I. We felt the heat around us increase and the humming grew louder. From this last part, I don't remember as we may have blacked out. I only have a few dreams now which I remember these events leading up to my memory loss. Unknown Brigus, Newfoundland July, 1997, Between 11:30 & 12:00 PM I was sleeping at a friends cabin in Brigue last summer. We had just arrived there from a two hour drive. It was late at night and we were in her car at the gas station picking up some food when we saw two mysterious white lights in the sky. These were flying around in different directions. The lights were moving at a very high speed, to fast for an airplane or a jet. Then they just zoomed away into the sky in a split second. Unknown Clarenville, Newfoundland, Canada On the way back from the store in Clarenville, we notice 2 strange objects moving in the sky. At this point from our view they were 2kms apart. They were moving in an up and down direction, like bouncing balls. Then veered left to right, back and forth for over 45 mins. This is unusual to Bruce who has flown planes many times before. He says that planes do not move this way. After viewing these UFO's we checked on the computer. We checked on sightings of UFO's over Clarenville/Random Island and notice that their had been several sightings of UFO's in this area.
