It was September- a bright sunny day in the early morning. The birds were singing. The children were playing games happily. And the brilliant sunshine went through one tiny window of the old condemned hospital.

Behind the window, there was a middle-aged patient lying on a purely white bed in the dinky corner. Because of the cancer treatment, this lady only had few hairs. Her face was completely pale, with hollow eyes and purple lips. She was so bony that you could see her cheek bones clearly. She could not even move to see the colorful outside world. And the room was accessed by no relatives or friends at all.

Was it the end? What else could she do?

Even though it seemed so hopeless, she still treasured each day of her life until the end......
