| My name is Scott & my wifes name is Diane. We have two kids Daniel & Kayleena.I have been into goats since 1981. I started with a recorded grade in 4-H. In 1990 I met my wife, we where doing a lot of shows. In 1994 we got married. We had a couple of kids. It was to hard to show with two little ones so we decided to sell sold most of the herd. We were planing to get back into goats when the kids got old enough to show. In 2002 the oldest had some in this name. The youngest is starting to build her herd up in 2003. I like Toggenburgs and the youngest does too. The oldest likes Oberhasli with my wife. We have been 4-H leaders & superintendents at the county fair since 1994. We have been helping Hazelridge Farm with showing. That is my grandma's herd. We help her show her saanen goats at the county fairs and the open shows that she goes to in IL & WI. I do the buck showing for her at the spring shows . My oldest wanted to get a new breed and my wife said no, but he wanted it bad. My wife said we were not going to have a loud mouth & long eared breed in the herd but we do now. We have every breed between 4-Hers & the family at the farm. We are on DHIR and we do CAE prevention with the kids. We also show Rabbits (flemish, standard & mini rex, dwarfs) at some county fairs. The newest things we are trying to show is our English Mastiff. It is not like showing a goat. |
