She's laying on her bed with her teddy bear in her arm, the one she gave to him, waiting with false hopes that he will call. But she knows the truth. She knows no matter how much she tried or cries that he won't be coming back to her. The next day at school she can hear the whispers. Her friends are sympathetic but try to tell her to move on, it's been a month since he left. On the outside she agreed but on the inside she just wanted to die. And when she got home that night, she made up her mind about what she had to do. She wrote a note to her mom and ones to her friends explaining why she did what she did. When her mom found her in the morning, she looked like she was sleeping cuddled up with her teddy bear. But when her mom rolled her over she noticed blood stains on the bear, the blankets, and her face. Crying, her mom covered her back up with her blankets and went to call her husband to let him know that their daughter took her life by sliting her wrist. But sitting by the phone, her mom found notes. She opened the one that said 'mommy' on the outside. It read:
Dear mom,
im sorry for what ive done. i hope you forgive me, but i just couldnt stand to be without him anymore. please take care of the family, dad and yourself. and please remember that none of this is your fault, and i love you and dad with all my heart, but i know i was meant to be with him and now we will be together forever. And if you could please give the other notes to my friends.
Love always....your daughter.
ps. if its possible, could you please bury my teddy bear with me?
So the mother called her husband and read the note. He came home and together they went to fulfill their daughters last wish and handed out all the notes to her friends. Then they went to put their baby in the ground and her mom made sure that the teddy bear was tight in her arms. Her mother even made sure that she was buried next to the one she lived and died for. |
