1. On an 11x17 sheet of construction paper, draw an outline of the contiguous United States with Alaska and Hawaii as insets. (25 points)
2. Add 25 physical features, including at least 3 oceans, 7 rivers, 4 mountain ranges, 2 bays, 2 lakes and 1 desert. The physical features should be color-coded and drawn graphically where possible. (25 points)
3. On the back of the map, prepare a legend that not only shows the symbols and colors for the features you included, but also lists the features of each type that you included. (10 points) For example:

4. For three different tribes, illustrate your map with a labeled drawing that shows each tribe�s adaptation to their environment. On the back of the map, write 2-3 complete sentences on each tribe discussing their adaptation and how your drawing is appropriate. (24 points)

- your name and period
- ticks on the border of the map that indicate the 5� latitude and longitude lines (10 points)
6. Label Canada and Mexico. (2)
