Best Friend 5 Bio Poem

1.  Your fifth project for your Best Friend is to write a Bio Poem.

2.  Format.  Your Bio Poem will have 10 lines.  The lines may include more information, but must include the following information
Line 1 your Best Friends first name
Line 2 was born on/in _________ and died on/in
Line 3 - 4 adjectives that describe your Best Friends character
Lines 4-9 choose any 6 of the following
        - tried to            - expected
        - wanted            - feared
        - hoped              - understood
        - dealt with         - believed
        - decided            - cared about
        - said                  - invented
        - explored            - led
Line 10 your Best Friends last name

3.  The kicker is that your Bio Poem needs to rhyme.  Here is a weak example.
  Napoleon, Im telling ya,
was born on Corsica and died on St. Helena.1
He was brave, arrogant, decisive, and bold,2
and wanted to conquer the Europe of old.3
He decided to build the Grand Armee,4
Believing that would impress Antoinette, Marie.5
He said, God is on the side of the biggest battalions,6
but feared that Wellington would have many more stallions.7
He tried to win Waterloo, but upset his cart,8
and thats the story of Bonaparte.

4.  You may illustrate your Bio Poem with images, drawings, or decorations.

5.  On the back of the paper, you must provide annotated footnotes for lines 2-8.  Footnotes must be in MLA format.  The annotation for each footnote must be 2-3 sentences explaining
what is meant by the line in the Bio Poem.

6.  Project is due Tuesday, October 5, 2004.
