HOME SWEET HOME

There is No Place Like Home in the PHILIPPINES

Meet my Family. I am from a family of four children- three girls and one boy. I am the second to the oldest. My sisters are Gina and Caresse, and my brother is named John. Gina was married in February, 1997. She has a son named Gian Miguel Labor-Gabrieles. Born in July 1998, Gian Miguel is my first nephew.

My Mother and Father celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in November 2001. My siblings and I hope to spend more happy times with them. They are the Best Parents in the world.

My Family is my Balance. They are my Inspiration. My Best Friends. I am so blessed to have such a Family.

The photo was taken before leaving for Home from a Picnic at the Beach, January 1997.

Standing from left are my Father, Gina, John, Caresse, my Mother. Sitting are my Father's younger Brother Henry and Me. Uncle Henry is one of my Father's three brothers. I also have an Uncle and an Aunt from my Mother's side. All my uncles and their family live abroad, so times like this when they come to visit us are always special.

The photo was taken at the Manila Airport when I left to Russia in January 2001.  Gian Miguel, the new addition to the family, was 1 ½ years old.

We were all (especially the baby) feeling tired after waiting for a couple of hours, not to mention the anxiety that one feels when a family member leaves for abroad, but we still managed to smile for a photograph before I took off.
