HOME SWEET HOME
There is No Place Like Home in the PHILIPPINESMeet my Family. I am from a family of four children- three girls and
one boy. I am the second to the oldest. My sisters are Gina and Caresse, and
my brother is named John. Gina was married in February, 1997. She has a son
named Gian Miguel Labor-Gabrieles. Born in July 1998, Gian Miguel is my first
nephew. My Mother and Father celebrated their 30th
wedding anniversary in November 2001. My siblings and I hope to spend
more happy times with them. They are the Best Parents in the world. My Family is my Balance. They are my Inspiration. My
Best Friends. I am so blessed to have such a Family. |

The photo was taken at
the Manila Airport when I left to Russia in January 2001. Gian Miguel, the new addition to the
family, was 1 ½ years old. We were all (especially the baby) feeling
tired after waiting for a couple of hours, not to mention the anxiety that
one feels when a family member leaves for abroad, but we still managed to
smile for a photograph before I took off. |
