Discussing “The Gates of Hell” sculpture with Keith. Kline is using the telescope to see the sculpture’s intricate details. But wait a minute, that’s not the right way to use the telescope Kline!!! The picture shows a view of the Hôtel Biron which houses the museum, including the spacious garden where some of Rodin's sculptures stand. Rodin started to rent the ground floor of the hotel in 1908 and turned it into a museum devoted to his works. In 1916, Rodin handed over to the Government all his collections and personal archives, his properties, and sculptures and drawings. |
