| Congratulation, you have found the Physical Science Teacher Web Resource Page for Chemistry! On this page you will find descriptions of many great resources pertaining to Chemistry (sort of what you would expect!) Resource #1 The Science Spot This is a wonderful site to check out if you are teaching a chemistry class. It was developed in 1999 by Tracy Trimpe, a science teacher at Havana Jr. High in Illinois. From the main page, you can click on the Science Classroom link. There is a Chemistry link on the Science Classroom page. Clicking on the link will bring you to downloadable chemistry lesson plans and Internet activities. The homepage also has links to pages with science references, daily trivia, a puzzle corner, technology ideas, etc Resource #2 Raders Chem4Kids This site was created in 1997 and has a myriad of chemistry information. This site is great because it presents information in a way that is often easier for students to understand than the book. There is information on the basics of chemistry such as, reactions, elements, atoms, matter, biochemistry, etc. There are also activities available to download. |
