The Paintings
A few selections from my portfolio of paintings. Artistic ability is hereditary in my family. My Aunt Joan Clarkson (nee Reynolds) was an accomplished oil painter whose most famous works were seen on the walls of the Recovery Ward of Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto. My grandmother, Frances Kathleen Reynolds (nee Crisp) was a painter of note in Nova Scotia in the early part of the 20th century and then relocated to Vancouver Island where she befriended and painted with Emily Carr for a short period of time.
My works hang in such esteemed halls as the Reynolds and Barkin Galleries in Toronto, The Ross Gallery in Collingwood, Ontario, Gallery Huttenrauch in Calgary, Alberta and Bentley House in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The paintings here are all acrylic on canvas.
