MINUTES
Attendance: Mitch Nakashima, Ricardo Torrez, Juvenal Torrez, Manuel Andres, Luis Montanez, John Quintero. ABSENT: Vern Morley, sick; Salvador Garcia, vacation; Adil Abbas, work; Marcos Zuniga, vacation; Luis Navrro-RESIGNED

Reports
Garden Development: Report made by Quintero on the oral response of the HARD District, and the new possibility at Tennyson High. Scheduled meeting with Hayward Unified Food and Nutrition Project.
Report on 2004 water usage--$9500, HIGH partly because of the breaks/leaks when timer was removed.
New Business: Approved by consensus date proposed by Admin. For Party/Election: April 16
Tabled discussion and decision on 2 year commitments, although it was thought a good idea to get longer commitments--especially from community members.
Water schedule for 2005--same as last year--Tu, Th, Sat, Sun. 7am to 7 pm. Stricter enforcment by Garden mgrs. John to train on the timers. Sammy Sandoval to fix Berryside water box and finish compost fence.
Old Business: Approved 1099 contract, procedures for 3 mos. Increments and appointed Chris Ortiz and Sam Sandoval as interim, and for Ghannem Haddad as Driver/seller.
Approved pursuance of any grants Administration see’s fit--IE--Eden and USDA.
Greenhouse--Tables to be built by
Patio area--discussed getting place in order before party. The patio area awning plans were approved last year--suggested having a member paid to do the skilled job according to Kendra’s plans.
