Administrative Meeting
Convened at 10:15Am
Attendance: Bobby Love, Vern Morley, Sheila McClelland, Mitch Nakashima, Chris Boynton, Richard Sanheuf, John Quintero.
Guest: Nabi, Estrella Phegan, Chris Ortiz, Mary
Reports:
Financial: 18,900 in bank per deposit receipt. Mitch volunteered to go to Bank and put $4000 in a 3 month certificate. Bobby Love will meet with John to go to bank and get check book ASAP. Chris Boynton reported on grant writing and will request $75 grant for educational coordinator/Executive Director job, to be invoiced as “service fees” to her Office and reimbursed to Gardens.
Mailing-Sheila reported that a $150 yearly fee is required and a 200 piece minimum.
Chris Boynton will look into use of district meter for neighborhood flyer, and offered, again to get flyers out through the school handout system.
Truck-the fees have been paid, but the tags and reg will not be issued until the truck is smogged. Minutes were checked, and Francisco Flores volunteered to fix truck.
Board Development: Connie Jordan, recruited by Sheila McClelland. Also Dawn of Camelot School also is interested.
