Things that you should know.
1. I am all about the GeekLove. That is, Grissom/Sara rocks my world. I've apparently been a G/S shipper since long before I watched this show, but I didn't know it. I also read Greg/Catherine fics but feel oddly guilty about it. I don't know -- the shifting dynamic this season (not to mention the addition of the Evil Spork) might make me change my mind about some things. But never the GeekLove.
2. I also happen to adore well written casefile-type stories. They're not as abundant as you might think, but I have to remind myself of the amount of research that has to go into such things, and that answers that.
3. It has been my experience that there are few mediocre CSI fics -- they tend either to be really good, or really terrible. I may one day be forced to eat my words, but I prefer to retain my optimism.
