Fill Your Glass With New Sales Leads

Are you happy with your search engine marketing? Do you have time to do what needs to be done to make sure that you get the most for your online marketing dollar?

Up to 88% of all Internet users get their information from search engines. This makes the Internet one of the most powerful marketing tools of all time. Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) are two ways to use search engines to generate traffic to a website. Both methods revolve around “keywords” or phases used by people when they are searching for information on the Internet. However, the ways they generate traffic to the websites are quite opposite.

PPC search listings are like ordinary search listings except that the sites that are listed pay for the privilege. SEO makes changes to an existing website in order to improve its non-paid listings. This can be done a number of ways.

A good site optimization will move your site into the top 20-30 positions in response to searches relevant to your business. PPC will drive traffic to a website while waiting for the SEO to take effect. Finally, it is important to optimize a website while creating it. This insures that site will be search engine friendly.

Finally, it's not just about driving more traffic to your site. The important thing is what do you want visitors to do on your site? Do you want them to buy something? Sign up for a newsletter? When ever a visitor does what you want them to do that is called a conversion. Once you know what your visitors are doing then you can find out how much each conversion costs.

Are you visitors doing what you want them to do? If they're not then you're throwing your money away. Stop wasting your money on traffic that doesn't convert.
