These days you can get wicked deals on 4* hotels, so it was a little more up market than we're used to!
This is the main square in Brugge, Belgium - It was similar to Amsterdam with the canals and bicycles, only with way more chocolate and beer.
Belgium was a great place to un-wind from the rat race of London.
There was countless old timers showing off their killing machines which were supprisingly impressive.
The dark chocolate and 9% alc beer eventually took it's toll.
They sure see the English coming, This beer was $12NZD and a cafe charged us $5NZ for a aquirt of sauce from a heinz bottle! You can guess what the note we left on the table said :-P
Man, the Eurostar is the way to travel! The photo may not do it justice but we were cruising along at 300km/h and smoooooth as! Theres no check in time like airports and we had a few beers with some other guys at the bar while speeding under the english channel and past the countryside. You'd be mad to fly when you can travel on this beast.
We are yet to figure out why the city was crawling with troops, but they loved the attention. Im not sure I trust the mongol in the back row with a handgun.
