ADAM

D.O.B.: 01/5/1980
Status: Single
Family: Mum and Dad, 2 brothers
Lives: Wimbledon
Fave Band Of All Time: U2, REM, Rolling Stones, Sigur Ros
Enlightened: Must have been around 1988. One of my brothers, babysitting, and running out of ideas to entertain a 8 year old took me along to Jubilee Park. Don't remember who we were playing, but we won 2-0 with Moose storming through their defence for a brace
Fave All Time Hawk: Close run thing between Woody and Steve Tate
Best Game: Both games v Barnet. The first a sunny Saturday afternoon when for most of the second half only one team were going to win it. The second, turning up to the Underhill on a rainy evening, expecting no-one to be there and finding many, many like minded people on the terrace
Worst Game: Away vs. Dorchy
Best Moment: A certain gentleman being forced to sit in the drizzle with the choir chanting abuse across at him. Even the jobsworth Barnet stewards were laughing
Best Goal: Any time the Hawks hit the net is worthy

Fave Current Player: Neil Champion
Fave All Time Hawk: So difficult, probably Jason Lovell
Best Game: The recent Hawks vs Weymouth tickle 16/3/02 takes some beating
Worst Game: The much mentioned Dorchester v Hawks relegation plummeter April 2000
Best Moment: The abyss avoider which also relegated our Grantham guests April 2000
Worst Moment: My post match lager after the 2001 Hampshire Senior Cup Final
Funniest Moment: The (attempted) Hawkmob steam-in at Rushden

ALYSON

Name: Alyson Green

Worst Game: Dorchy away - same reasons as Ketchup
Favourite Goals: Woody against Burton at home, Woody against Gloucester away, Woody against Kings Lynn away, Super Jim against Pompey in the 2000 pre-season friendly
Funniest Moment: Tough one. Probably Halesowen in April 2001. When the announcer was reading out the Hawks line-up to the sound of rousing cheers as each name was read out. Then he came to the substitutes and "No. 15....MICK JENKINS" - a definite pause - then BOOS echoing around the ground from the Hawk faithful who were then greeted with the sight of Jenks poking his head out of the dug-out in front of us in disgust, with all the players laughing their heads off

Top 3 Current Hawks: Dean Holdsworth, Robbie Pethick and Dave Town
Top All Time Hawk: Alec Masson, Liam Daish (player not manager) and Paul Wood
Best Game: Any high scoring match entertains me especially the following games: Nuneaton 5-1 (2004) Bognor 5-1 (2005), Basingstoke 5-1 (2005), Hornchurch 4-1 (2005) and any Weymouth win.
Worst Game: Theres too many to mention especially over the last two seasons but the ones that stand out are: Fareham Town 1-2 (HSC), Any dour 0-0 result, Bishop's Stortford beating us 4-0 at home we were awful that day.
Best Hawks Moment: The game that really stands out for me was the friendly home defeat by Portsmouth losing 6-0 but in front of a fantastic home crowd of nearly 3,000 - It'd be great to witness crowds like that on a regular basis and hopefully if we are promoted to the Conference National it'll be a step in that direction.
Worst Hawks Moment: The Last Two seasons to have so much hope, so much talent on display at WLP and yet not to manage a push for promotion in fact its been the complete opposite trying to survive. Lets hope something changes for the better soon. I have high hopes for Ian Baird to run a much more professional and committed outfit next season and i'm sure we'll be pushing for at least a play-off place.
Best Hawks Goal: Any goal scored by Dean Holdsworth and Dave Town, but Brett Poate, Dean Blake and Robbie Pethick have all scored fantastic goals this season.

Worst Game: Wycombe (h) FA Cup R1 1970s. 'Ville played superb, but heartbreakingly came up short. And a section of the boards around the ground collapsed under the weight of the 1500 crowd.
Favourite Goal: Champs at Hinckley last season, if you saw it, you know how much class the build up showed.
Funniest moment: A certain gentleman's fatal cramp at Tamworth last season & the site of 2 St John's Ambulancemen rushing to his aid. Amongst much serious concern for his situation.

Worst Moment: Final whistle at Dorchester in aforementioned game

Best Moment: Every game is a best moment cause they all got something special in them
Worst Moment: Same as Thimbles - only game I came home really disappointed
Best Goal: Jamie O'Rourke vs. Bath City 26/12/01. Great surved shot into the top corner.

Funniest moment: Our 3rd goal against Weymouth (2003/4) where the defender and goalie collided and Gavin Holligan walked the ball ito the net looking surprised.
Worst Away Game: Fareham Town away 2003/4. We lost 2-1 with the worst ref ever taking charge of the game.
Best known for: Wearing a hat and blowing a horn.

Fave drink: Tea / Guinness / Lager
Favourite Band: No real fave....at the moment I am listening to Deadline, The Business, Argy Bargy, AC/DC, Machine Head, Labrat, Charger, Raging Speedhorn, Agnostic Front, Madball, Sick Of It All, Good Riddance, Death By Stereo, 4FT Fingers and Red Letter Day (just to keep Ade happy)

Enlightened: Every morning when I open the curtains
Fave all time Hawk: Has to be Aaron Kerr
Best Game: Many, but the FA Trophy semi final 2nd leg this season against Tamworth was a real nailbiter
Worst Game: As above (for the most obvious of reasons)
Best Moment: Doesn't say anywhere in the rules that it has to be a football related "best moment" does it? I would like to cheat and have two. First, the day my Son was born and second the day I met Maria...
Best Goal: Any of 'em
Something very few people know about me: I play the piano and snore quite a lot (apparently!)

RICH

Name: Rich Self
D.O.B.: 1973
Status: Tired
Lives: Havant
Fave Band: The 'Terrace End' Municipal Choir. When can we expect an album?
Additional Hobbies: Fretting about match reports and the accuracy of statistics on the website. Also, part time Astronaut (Sundays and Thursday evenings) and cheese taster for the Swiss tourist board.
Enlightened: FA Cup Fourth Qualifier against Hayes in 98. After remonstrating with my Father for a good while that Non-League Football was not the way forward, I was proven very quickly wrong.
Fave All Time Hawk: Very tough call, probably Woody although Dave Wakefield would be very close.
Best Game: League Cup against Dorchester 99/00 always springs to mind when asked that one, that had it all. Favourite league game would have to be the Burton thrashing the same season, purely because it proved we weren't Premier Division cannon fodder on our day and Nigel Clough's excuses afterwards couldn't disguise the fact he'd totally underrated us.
Worst Game: The defeat at Dorchester in April 2001 was a pretty low moment, but personally it would have to be either the FA Cup away game at Langney Sports when it looked like the team was about to self destruct because of a continual discipline problem, or the away game at Halesowen after Bibbo was sent off, solely because at that point I thought we were going down and I hated the place anyway.
Best Moment: The nervous tension and excitement sat in the old stand after the Andover game at the end of the promotion season, waiting to hear the result of the Folkestone/Margate derby that would determine if we'd go up as champions. Also hearing the final whistle at King's Lynn the day we ended their 300 year unbeaten home streak.
Worst Moment: Hambley being sent off in the Southport FA Cup game. The world came crashing down then, what made it worse was seeing it again with millions of others on Match of the Day that night
Best Goal: Gareth's 93rd minute winner against Stafford in Sept 2001. Astounding curved blast from somewhere out in the car park, we all thought it was going out until it crashed in off the bar.
Favourite Goal: Woody's bicycle kick at Gloucester in the FA Cup. Audacious isn't the word. Or his blast for the sixth (or was it fifth?) against Burton... or the similar job at Raunds in 1999... or... what do you mean we get the message?

SKIF

Name: Dave Nicholls
D.O.B.: 21/04/1978
Status: girlfriend, Jenny
Lives: Bedhampton
Fave Bands Of All Time: Cardiacs, The Fall, Captain Beefheart, Earl Brutus
Current Fave Bands: Bearsuit, Low, Ballboy
Enlightened: Chelmsford at home in the promotion season. Lost 3-0 but came back for first game of next season (Tamworth) and never looked back. Took 11 visits to WLP to see my first Hawk win. People wondered why I kept coming!
Fave Current Player: Peter Fear
Fave All Time Hawk: Dave Leworthy and Gary MacDonald (for joining us on the terraces at Welling despite having been back in the pro game with Peterborough for the previous 6 months - good effort!!)
Best Game: Barnet at home in the FA Cup 2001/02 sun shone great atmosphere top performance
Worst Game: Dorchester (A) 22/4/01 - 1-4 see Ketchups reasonings
Best Moment: Final whistle in relegation decider vs. Grantham April 00. Cue wild abandon in the old shed.
Worst Moment: Taking now ex-girlfriend out on her birthday to watch us lose 3-0 in the Hants Senior Cup to COWES-BLEEDIN-SPORTS in bitterly cold weather!! No wonder she left me!!
Best Goal: pick one of several of Leworthy's marvellous strikes (Pompey and Palace friendlies and vs. Cambridge City 00/01)
Favourite Goal: Gary Connollys vs. Barnet just cos of the feverish celebration behind the goal packed with day-trippers and how easily it could have gone astray!

SPUD

Name: Andrew Jamieson
Status: single, or my Dad will kill me
Family: 2 brothers, 1 sister, my Dad and his girlfriend
Lives: Leigh Park
Occupation: school kid/playing for H&W Under 10's
School: Hulbert Junior, Waterlooville
Enlightened: at Weymouth, as Waterlooville lost 2-1
Fave Hawk: Shaun Gale
Fave all-time Hawk: Steve Tate
Best game: Being mascot for the match against Weymouth
Best moment: Having picture taken with Steve Tate

STEPH

Name: Steph Parry
D.O.B.: 30/7/1978
Status: single
Lives: Out of a suitcase at parents
Fave Band Of All Time: Carter U.S.M.
Enlightened: Blame Skif, it's all his fault.
Fave Hawk: Difficult one for me but if I have to pick one then probably Blakey for his strong consistency throughout this season.
Fave all-time Hawk: Not been supporting the club long enough to have an opinion, but keep watching this space.
Best game: Dagenham & Redbridge, FA Cup 1st Round, 16/11/2003
Worst game: Crawley at home
Best moment: Final whistle at Forest Green, FA Trophy Quarter Finals, 15/03/2003
Funniest moment: Worcester away game (well funny for everyone else at least)

STEVIE

Name: Steve Anscombe
D.O.B.: 21/7/1962
Status: Divorced with 3 kids. 4 if you include my partner Sharon
Lives: Emsworth
Occupation: Er, I draft replies to MPs letters for a Govt. Department. Tea drinking Civil Servant if you like
Fave Band Of All Time: Genesis
Hobbies: Playing blues guitar (badly) and playing Bar Billiards (not so badly)
Enlightened: FA Cup 1st round proper against Southport, 18/11/2000. I went with my son, then six, with no previous attachment to the Hawks at all. Loved the enthusiasm and atmosphere. Was surprised by my reaction when Woody scored (both arms, and son high in the air). Was hooked despite the outcome
Fave All Time Hawk: Tricky, as I only know the current mob. Based on that, ask me again in 20 years
Best Game: Probably home to Crawley last term. Top of the table clash, 2 0 up after half an hour, and with the Creepies having the habit of scoring extremely late goals at the time, the rivalry and their late pressure made it a real joy to behold
Worst Game: Home to Tamworth, also last year. Embarrassing failure of floodlights, embarrassing rendition of the 12 days of Christmas by some unimaginative bunch of herberts supporting the opposition, and embarrassing result. Embarrassing.
Best Goal: Probably Gareth Halls winner against Stafford last year. Only the net prevented that ball heading into orbit, and it is always good to score with virtually the last kick of the game.
Funniest Moment: Nothing springs to mind as such, though a book of the collective philosophical mutterings of the choir would definitely sell. Never mind the singing, catch the banter.

THIMBLE

Name: Sharon
Family: Mikaela, Heather & Jareth
Lives: West Leigh
Fave Band Of All Time: Savage Garden, Adam & The Ants, Madness, Wet Wet Wet, East 17 etc.
Current Fave Bands: Linkin Park, Craig David, Daft Punk, Usher, Anastasia, Alice Deejay, Fragma etc.
Enlightened: Friendly against Crystal Palace July 01 (3-1 win). Gorgeous summer's evening - I was hooked!
Fave All Time Hawk: Jamie O'Rourke
Best Game: Moneyfields (H) 23/10/01 9-0 Never clapped and cheered so much in my life!
Worst Game: Tamworth (H) 15/12/01 0-2 Poor resault, floodlight trouble and rude obnoxious oiks who proudly called themselves Tamworth supporters
Best Moment: Joining the mob behind the goal. Standing with the choir for the first time away at Crawley was awesome.
Worst Moment: Losing to Grays at home in the FA Trophy. We'd played so well then they got that last minute goal during injury time. Then to top it allthe Grays manager 'gestured' at us, cos he'd won
Best Goal: Shaun Wilkinson at Hinkley United (19/01/02). Took a pass from Champs then strutted past everyone and planted it in the back of the net. Awesome.
Favourite Goal: Jamie O'Rourke's Boxing Day 2001 spectacular at home to Bath City. Superb curved shot to top right corner.
