Food and drink are more important than love: a starving child's view
I totally understand why people think that love is the most important thing of all. I am loved, and it does fill me with a warm glow inside. However, the reason I say that food and drink are more important, is because right next to that warm fuzzy glow are intense stabbing pains, where my starving, distended stomach is trying to feast on itself. The powerful acids in my stomach are still released whether I've eaten or not, and without food to break down, they simply attack the inside of the body.
I do agree that love is important, and I'm not taking anything away from that argument, but when I'm lying on the cold, hard ground, with bugs swarming over my naked ribcage, I do think that life would be 100% better with food and drink.
