| Why update Counter-Strike ? If you want to play CS on the Internet you must download this patches and updatesbecause all the servers on the Internet use the 1.0.0.5 version of the game (maybe there are some exceptions). Why shouldn't we download CS 1.0.0.6 or 1.6 ? There are multiple explanations for this. One : The good gamers still consider this version as a beta-version (it has been only a few months whe they introduced the update). Two : There are these unneeded tools in the CS 1.6 like a shield (P.S.: If you can't play without a stupid shield then you should be playing CS in the first place.).
