In my Dreams I’m Always Running

Even when I’m conscious,

My dreams seem to protrude.

Because at night, inside my head,

I’m constantly pursued.

When I go to bed at night,

I slip into my tomb.

I know that what awaits me.

Is sure and sudden doom.

It’s in no curtain pattern,

It’s different every night.

It seems that even in my bed,

The world I have to fight.

There’s always someone after me.

For me they come a gunning.

And then I’m forced to save myself.

In my dreams I’m always running.

Although my life is not so bad,

The nights are hell for me.

Because I know when darkness falls,

Again I’ll have to flee.
