The Open Door

I see it now,
The open door,
It seems much closer,
Than before.

But theres a price,
For claritys gathered,
You take whats given,
Than what is rathered.

It may not be,
What is desired,
Its often more,
What is required.

It leads you to,
A higher plan,
But takes away,
What keeps you sane.

And to decide,
If it is worth,
To lose the innocence,
You had at birth.

The door closes quickly,
Hurry up and decide,
Walk into the light,
Or lie down and hide.
