13-12-1999 to 7-8-2000  -  Sales Executive with Borneo Posts Sdn. Bhd.  A local daily English newspaper of the See Hua Daily News/KTS group. Responsible for soliciting and servicing of classified and non-classified advertisements from the public sectors

(State, Federal and government agencies) and private sectors in Kuching  division. Resigned on own accord to do own business and part-time lecturing and teaching.

1-7-1993 to 16-1-1999  -  Senior Business and Finance Executive with Peladang (Sarawak) Fishmart Sdn. Bhd. The company , a subsidiary of State Farmers Organization is doing aquaculture business, dealing with the production and marketing of quality fresh water fish, fish products, and  procurements of farm inputs for domestic and rural farmers. Resigned on own accord due to organizational restructuring .

1-5-1991 to 30-6-1993  -  Branch Manager of East Malaysia Finance Bhd (Advance Finance Bhd.) , a licensed finance company. Joined the organization in 30-6-1988, as Senior Credit and Marketing officer, before getting promoted to Manager, in May 1991.  

1-3-1986 to 20-5-1988  - Operations officer class 1, with M.U.I. Bank  Bhd (Hong Leong Bank Bhd ) . Dealing with branch banking operations , businesses  and consumer  lendings, home mortgage loans, deposits, cash handlings, trade finance, and current accounts.

1-4-1979 to 20-8-1983  -  District MARA Officer.  Dealings  with Bumiputra business enterprise , loans , entrepreneurial development , vocational training  (IKM and MRSM)  at divisional level.  Assist  State MARA Officer in conducting business courses at  local level. Worked closely with government departments to promote MARA objectives and activities.  Resigned on own accord for further studies.       

1-1-79 to 30-3-1979  - Temporary  Interviewer for Survey Research Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., in consumer research and survey  initiatives, covering  Kuching , Bau  and Sri Aman division.
