Fruits basket or Furtuutsu Basuketto (shortened to Furuba) is a heart warming of a 16-year-old girl named Honda Tohru who became an orpan after her died four months ago in a car accident. Since her grandfathers house needed remodeling she secretly been living in a tent. To her surprise, she discovers that she's staying on private property belonging to the Sohma family, and after they discover her tent, offer to let her stay in their house in exchange for cooking and cleaning. (Mind that they 3 guys that live in the house). After a turn of events, Tohru discovers the big Sohma family secret: they are cursed by vengeful spirts of the chinese zodiac (juunishi). As the secrets slowly unravel for Tohru, will she be able to help them, and can they help her? |
