Ride to Jasper and Banff of the Canadian Rockies
We started the ride heading north into North Dakota.  After crossing over into Manitoba and Sascatchawan, it was back into Montana to Glacier National Park.  Then we rode north into Banff and Jasper in Alberta. Leaving there we crossed over into B.C.  and south into Washington state.  Zig-zaging our way through Idaho, Wyoming and Montana to catch more scenery.  Headed back we decided to finish up the last of our ride through Rocky Mountain National Park (which was all was fine till we ran into a hail storm in Colorado) before heading east across the southern part of Kansas.   After finishing up the trip we had logged a bit over 6500 miles and became a member of the Iron Butt Riders.  WOW...What a ride it was.
Lots of wildlife along the way were seen.  Grizzy Bears and black bears, moose, elk, mule deer, antilope, Bighorn sheep, Dall sheep, mountain goats, buffalo and fox.
This mama black bear swimming had 3 cubs tagging along.
These are all views of glacial lakes in Banff Prov. Park in Alberta.
