Top cadre defects

Stockholm (Sweden)-Mr. Hailay Feday an executive of the central zone of Tigray and member of the regional parliament has defected to Sweden and is in the process of asking political asylum. Mr. Hailay who is a graduate of Alemaya has also been serving the government as cadre since 1994. He denounces the crackdown on the TPLF members as a farcical move staged by the Meles group to undermine the very democratic principles and Constitutions of the Ethiopian people. He condemns the coup against the legitimate regional administration of Tigray and decided to no longer serve the dictatorship of Meles, which is characterised by extreme threats, harassment, imprisonment and executions.
