My Violin

I've been playing the violin since 5th grade when the school orchestra started. Mine was bought at Glen's Music Shop and it costed more than $500. I was so grateful for it!! At first, orchestra was really fun but my violin was really really heavy. Wait, no. My violin case was too heavy and I often got annoyed with it. Anyway, I was really good at the beginning of the year, but it got harder and harder. I confess this: I WAS LAZY! I hardly ever practiced the violin. In the middle of 6th grade, I almost wanted to quit orchestra but I knew my parents would be disappointed so I stayed. Good thing I did because I finally decided to practice hard and I found out what had been troubling me the whole time: I couldn't read music. One day, I just suddenly decided to study my music for a while and I practiced A LOT. After a while, I got used to it and now, I really really love my violin. I like the way it sounds, the delicacey of it and I love how graceful it looks when you play it. I'm in the Intermediate orchestra right now in school and it's been great so far. Hmm...I think that's it.
