72-Hour Limited Warranty
|
A.
Prior to
delivery the Breeder has given the cat/kitten vaccinations against against
Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Pneumonitis
(Chlamydia). The Breeder guarantees
this cat/kitten to be free from Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline
Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and provides a 72-Hour Limited Warranty against
the cat/kitten having an upper respiratory, fungal, viral or bacterial
infections, and internal or external parasites. Please refer to the heath guidelines supplied at the time of
purchase for information on minor illnesses your kitten may suffer while
adjusting to your home.
B.
Breeder
requests that you have your cat or kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian
within 72 hours after you have received or picked up your cat/kitten. The
Breeder is not responsible for the cost of this exam. If a cat or kitten is
determined to have the illnesses defined in Section 3A during the first 72
hours we will take care of all reasonable and customary vet expenses up to
the purchase price of the kitten. This insures that your kitten is
returned to proper health. If you do not take your cat or kitten to the vet
during the first 72 hours we will not be responsible for any vet expenses and
the 72-Hour Limited Warranty is voided.
All veterinarian treatment must be pre-authorized by us before we will
pay your vet directly.
C.
We are
responsible for illness not injury to your pet during the first 72 hours. The
Breeder has the right to request a second opinion from a Veterinarian of the
Breeders choice and at the Breeders expense.
D.
Both
Breeder and Buyer have the option within five days of the veterinary
diagnosis to either a) cancel this contract and refund the purchase price, or
b) accept a replacement animal pursuant to the provisions in Section 8, if
and when available.

Cat/Kitten Care
|
A.
The Buyer
agrees that the Kitten/cat(s) are never to be "declawed" or
"tattooed".
B.
The
Buyers will educate themselves in the characteristics of the breed in order
to fully understand the habits and care of the Ragdoll breed. Buyer is encouraged to call the Breeder
whenever there is a question or concern about their new Ragdoll kitten. The Buyer agrees to adhere to the heath
guidelines supplied at the time of purchase for a period of 10 days or as
recommended by the Buyer’s veterinarian.
C.
Buyer
agrees to keep the cat/kitten clean, healthy, and free of internal and
external parasites, free of stress and harassment and well nourished. Buyer
will provide a safe, sanitary, indoor environment of sufficient room and
space. The Buyer will keep the
cat/kitten in a homelike, loving atmosphere, not subject to unnecessary
confinement, and cared for in the best manner possible at all times.
D.
Buyer
agrees to vaccinate this cat/kitten annually as appropriate. The cat/kitten
will not be denied needed veterinary attention. If the Buyer is unsure
whether or not the animal is in need of medical services, a vet will be
contacted, the situation will be explained, and the vet's advice will be
acted upon.
E.
Buyer is
contracted to provide a lifetime home for this cat/kitten. Buyer will contact the Breeder if the
Buyer is unable or unwilling to keep this cat/kitten and will return the
cat/kitten to the breeder at the earliest opportunity without compensation or
refund. The Breeder may also offer to
assist the Buyer in finding another suitable home for the cat/kitten. Under no circumstances shall the
cat/kitten be abandoned, sold, leased, or given to any Pet Store, Laboratory,
Research Facility, Kitten Mill or Animal Shelter, humane society or organization,
or any agents or representatives thereof.
Abuse, neglect or lack of adequate care as determined by appropriate
state and regulatory officials will result in Buyer relinquishing this animal
to Breeder unconditionally.
F.
No kitten
or cat is to be euthanized without the prior knowledge of the breeder, except
in the case where a veterinarian considers it the only humane alternative. If
breeder is not notified prior to the event, this guarantee is void and no
replacements or compensation will be given.
