Welcome to the Hawaii trophy sheep page!
The Hawaii hunter has the privilege to hunt wild sheep on the islands.  Hawaii offers two types of sheep, Mouflon and Feral.  The Mouflon Sheep were introduced to Hawaii in the 1950's as an effort to interbreed with the Feral Sheep to change their grazing habits to reduce their environmental impact.  Mouflon Sheep can be found free-ranging on the islands of Lanai and the Big Island of Hawaii.  However, the Big Island's Mouflon are largely interbred with the Feral Sheep.
Feral Sheep were introduced to the islands in the late 1800's and can be found in the upland areas of the Big Island of Hawaii.
