Welcome to the Hawaii trophy deer page!
The Hawaii hunter has the opportunity to pursue the illusive axis deer on the the islands of Lanai, Molokai, and Maui.  Axis deer are probably the toughest and most difficult to hunt in the islands, with Mouflon Sheep not far behind.  Any hunter skilled or lucky enough to take a Hawaii Axis Buck with a bow will attest that it is quite the accomplishment.  Unlike axis deer found on the continental U.S., the axis deer of Hawaii are completely free-ranging with nothing stopping them from movement all over the island, except the ocean of course.
- check out the "Information" page for more about the axis deer of Hawaii.
The following links are to pictures and descriptions of successful hunts fortunate enough to have made the Trophy Deer Page.  They are listed in alphabetical order by hunter name and we have not thumbnailed the images to speed up page loading and conserve our limited bandwidth.  Enjoy and congratulations to all fortunate enough to have made it on this page!
