Welcome!
Here is the newest addition to the site!  You have already taken your game and now you're in the kitchen with no idea what you're going to do.  If you're like me, you just want to hurry up and eat the darn thing.  Here will be posted recipes that I come across for game to make your hunt a little more tastier.  I will also accept any recipes from viewers just like you to spice things up.  ENJOY!
Easy Macadamia Nut Orchard Kalua Pig
(Preferred meat: wild Macadamia Nut Pigs)

7 to 8 pounds pig meat (backstrap or butt)
1 1/2 tablespoons liquid smoke
1 teaspoon ground pepper
4 cup water
Hawaiian Salt (Rock Salt)

Directions
Make sure meat is clean of all hard and debris.  If you are using boar meat then soak in ice water and baking soda for 1-2 days, changing water every 5 hours.  Sow meat usually does not have a "gamey" taste.  Cut meat into 2 inch thick steaks.  Place cleaned meat into larger crock pot adding all ingredients(liquid smoke, pepper, water, and hawaiian salt).  Cover with lid turn on crock pot and let cook on high or low for 6-8 hours.  Longer cooking times will end with very soft and easily stripped kalua pig.  Serve with boiled/steamed cabbage.  From the Big Island, keep on hunting...Enjoy
