The year perhaps that the sleeping Giant will awaken

What have we become?

My heart, which once swelled with pride, now shrinks with shame and disbelief.

Old Glory. The American Way. Truth and Justice. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Of the People, by the People, and for the People. Government instituted to protect the unalienable rights of the People.

Where have these concepts gone? Are they alive in a only few people? Are we the type of nation we once fought to free ourselves from? Have we become the type of nation that denies individual rights, that will squash any people dissenting from government tyranny? Have we become as Gestapo as Gestapo Germany. Or, as communistic as any country has ever been?

You and your family decide to go for an Sunday afternoon drive to relax and look at the blossoming leaves, and to spend some quality time together. Suddenly, you come to a spot check manned by several law enforcement officers with a dog. You path as a law-abiding citizen is blocked and your sense of well-being disturbed.

But, that is only the beginning. Knowing your constitutional rights, you point them out and deny them the searching of your car. You show them your copy of the 4th Amendment and your constitutional right to travel as you wish.

You refuse showing any proof of insurance as it is unconstitutional to demand any of your private papers plus unconstitutional to require that any citizen buy any product. You also show applicable state statutes which clearly reveal no private citizen has to keep a liability insurance policy on any private automobile. Title 49, covering Interstate Transportation, is misread and applied with it being applied to privately owned, privately used automobiles.

You refuse to show a drivers license as no private citizen is required to get permission and pay a tax to operate his own means of transportation on highways and streets which are owned by the public. You show proper documentation that you are right and the laws are being applied wrong.

The officers discover you automobiles state license plate has been expired for some time. You show that licensing is unconstitutional as it is just another permit to do what you have the right to do anyway - drive an automobile for private use and to retain ownership to yourself and that the laws governing registering and licensing are unconstitutional and, therefore, null and void.

Suddenly, the dog begins whining, barking, and scratching at your door. It acts as if it smells some drug. Knowing that you do not use drugs and, that even if you did, it is your God-given right to, you deny them access to your automobile once again.

Your wife and kids are now screaming as they are terrified by the law enforcement officers surrounding the passenger compartment with loaded, ready- to-fire weapons pointed at your heads. But, you stand your ground.

To no avail. Suddenly, windows are broken out, doors opened, and your family is thrown to the ground brutally and weapons pointed at each. You are all cuffed and, if you are lucky, you are not beaten brutally or shot in the back.

You and your family are taken to jail, strip searched, and incarcerated with your vehicle, house, and all other assets confiscated. Why? You must be a drug dealer and you did not comply with unconstitutional laws written and enforced under color of law. Plus, it seems one of the bills (Federal Reserve Notes) you had in your billfold had trace amounts of cocaine on it.

What started as expression of rights by citizens ended up as an act of war against the People by the government and its agents. Each officer and every official behind them acted as treasonous as any who have sold secrets and then compounded this with attacking American citizens on American soil, kidnapping them, and submitting them to atrocities reminiscent of Gestapo Germany.

It may sound as if this is made up and it is - but only in a sense. Like situations have occurred and there may be such acts taking place right now as you read - a home being broken into, law-abiding citizens being stopped illegally and unlawfully as they travel, vehicles and homes confiscated along with other assets, incarceration without any intent of arresting, unlawful strip searches, beatings and shootings of innocent law-abiding citizens, and, generally speaking, the government committing crime after crime against citizens.

It is happening so often that many writers have written articles telling people how to behave in spot checks so as to avoid police taking action they havent any power to take but do anyway. Always, the recommendation is just to do as they say so you can survive the situation while you are out on the highway. Dont upset the police, especially since they have guns pointed at you and can take any action they wish without getting so much as a reprimand for it.

So, tell me, Good Folks, is this what we pay our tax dollars to support? Is this the government instituted by the People, of the people, and for the People? Is the home of the free where truth and justice prevail?

Or, is it instead a nation in which government and its police forces are permitted to do commit crimes against the People; where refusal to submit private papers is a reason to throw a citizen in jail; where citizens may travel freely but only if the government permits it; where the states insist that private automobiles have true and factual ownership turned over to them with the fee charged for license plates actually being a rental fee charged on government vehicles; and where you must get permission to operate your mode of travel on highways owned and maintained by you and your fellow citizens with the effect being the highways are taken as being property of the government?

Is it a nation where your home and property can be violated at will by government, your family terrorized as they were peacefully watching television or whatever your family does for relaxation; or as they were sleeping since most such attacks occur very early in the morning; and where officers of the law (using the phrase about as loosely as it can be used) have the authority to forcibly enter your home firing away; or beating the people within because of some bogus tip that was not even remotely investigated prior to the attack on your privacy and security? And the offending officers get away with it since they were just doing their job?

Hate to disillusion these attackers of innocence and Liberty but their job is NOT to violate the privacies and other rights of the People. Their job is to uphold and defend those rights, to do all they can to secure the rights and sense of well-being of the people they are hired to represent.

It is their job to stand up against their superiors and point out the law of the Constitution to them and, should superiors fail to act properly, take action against the superiors.

These are the duties of their job. Considering laws the officers know are unconstitution, if they do not report those violating constitutional law and Title 18 violations, for example, it is Misprision of felony (Title 18, Part I, Chapter 1, Section 4) since deprivation of rights, or conspiracy to do so, is a felony (Title 42, Sections 1981, 1983, and 1985).

Duties of police officers are clearly delineated in state statutes and this writer will guarantee the constitutions of the states do not allow for statutes that give authority to law enforcement to stop people indiscriminately as they travel on the highways. Or to invade homes based on a tip lacking in substance and verifiable cause. Both are assumed authorities.

In fact, for example, Missouri statutes only give authority to police officers concerning traffic and parking violations and peace keeping on public property. No crime investigating authority at all that this writer could find. And, certainly, no authority to stop people and ask them for their papers.

Understand this. Your person, your automobile, your home, and all other property are yours and not under the authority of any government if you are a private citizen without any property engaged in interstate transportation or obtained through privilege (such a government corporations and the like).

Drug laws, which most invasions and highway stops are based on, and firearm laws (used along with drug laws for in-home invasions) excepting a one-time excise tax on imports, are unconstitutional and may not be lawfully (constitutionally) applied to citizens of the 50 states. Only coercion and fear permits government to get away with the atrocities they now get away with concerning these so-called "wars".

So, what have we become - A nation of people in servitude to government with our rights oppressed into non-existence or a nation of people our founders would be proud of?

==================================================

Final note: DO NOT under any circumstances try to defend your constitutional rights in a spot check or in your home.

DO NOT argue any point unless your identity shows you to be a BAR attorney (part of the elite by English proclamation) and, for Gods sake,

DO NOT arm yourself or act as if you might be reaching for a weapon.

Although it seems law enforcement is free to shoot and kill citizens with impunity, the same does not hold true for citizens protecting themselves. You must, to survive and act another day, be as meek as a sheep and even that wont guarantee you and your family wont be thrown to the ground or floor and treated as if you are the vilest of criminals.
