The Thin Line

I am afraid the line between death and liberty has grown quite thin. Every case read in which citizens are attacked by federal and local law enforcement and then tried in courts with rights denied or ignored by those ignorant people who would enslave us eats away at the increasingly thinned line. We are at war but only the opposition, the different levels of government, is using firearms. This must not continue or our liberties will be forever lost.

What nation is this that we live in when armed police officers are permitted to stop innocent people in their travels, force them often at gunpoint to exit their vehicles, thrown on the ground and hand-cuffed, have their persons and cars searched for who knows what, and taken off to jail for no offense?

What nation is this that we live in when police do not uphold the Constitution for the United States of America, who do as their supervisors dictate even when the officer knows the supervisor is wrong and that the law being enforced is wrong?

What I am trying to say, Folks, is once the line is destroyed completely, we are as subservient to government and its law enforcers as the German and Jewish people were to the Gestapo Germany government.

And, that is not a pretty picture or future to face.
