One could also make decisions such as where he or she was going to travel. One didnt need government permission to travel, nor to use any means of conveyance they had.
One could even engage in any occupation which one wanted without permission from government. If one had the talent and the willingness to work for ones self, then any business could be started. And, if not an illegal activity, such as Murder for Hire, illegally importing goods so as to miss any duties on them, or others consisting of infringing upon the rights of others, one was free to make these lifes decisions for oneself.
When it came to private real estate property, land and ones home, no one interfered with activities of the owner, let alone demanding permission for the owner to conduct a business, grow any crop he wished for example, telling him what he could keep on his property, or what trees or shrubs he could plant.
So, what the hell happened? We now have government taking property, actually stealing it, in the form of taxes, both federal and state income tax, property tax, license fees, permits to do this and to do that, fines for not complying with stupid, unconstitutional laws put in force by politicians and others involved in government. And out and out stealing through illegal and unlawful seizures of property.
Seems that the Constitution has been forgotten. Judges rule courtrooms as if they are monarchs. Say anything to them about how stupid they are of the laws established by the founders of this nation and they use their misplaced authority to smash any opposition to their unconstiutional acts.
Judges rule on law when they dont have any authority to interpret laws. Only the people determine what is law. But, say that to a judge, or insist on the Constitution being observed and it is likely you will get at least 30 days in jail and a fine for contempt of court.
Hundreds of people write about the injustices of the federal government making and enforcing unconstiutional laws. These are laws that are not in fact based on one person infringing upon the rights of another, but as a means of controlling people by generating fear. These laws make what is not criminal into crimes, including the thousands of thousands of laws concerning victimless crimes. Victimless crimes is an oxymoron ~ there can be no crime without a victim.
We are free, or supposed to be anyway, to pursue our happiness, our liberty, our lives without any or, at least, very little government interference. Government is only meant to protect the rights that citizens express. Part of the pursuit of happiness and liberty is to collect as much property as we wish. That the Revolutionary War was fought for this is clear. There could be no reason to rebel that was not based on the property rights of the individual.
Property and unalienable rights came first before man-made laws. Therefore, laws are supposed to be made only to protect the property rights of people, not to infringe upon their rights. It fact, it is a duty to report as crimes laws which are in violation of the Constitution and used under color of law to persecute and prosecute innocent citizens, specifically those that directly take rights. It is covered in Title 18 and USC 42.
But, government started finding it could little by little remove rights without too much of a stir from the public. Then, larger chunks were taken, particularly by the 1913 Federal Reserve Act, the bogus 16th Amendment of 1913, the 1933 declaring of bankruptcy of the US Government, and the acts related to the Ponzi scheme of ripping people off known as Social Security (Social Security Act of 1935, 1939 Public Salary Tax Act and the Buck Act of 1940).
Then, because the US Government got by with passing and enforcing unconstiutional laws, State governments began doing the same, including income tax and property tax, requirements to register property, business licenses, and autos defined as commercial vehicles instead of what they are - automobiles which resulted in the people being fooled into believing they had to have a drivers license, vehicle license, stickers for this and that, and liability insurance, all of which are bogus and nothing more than fraud.
We do not need the States permission to use highways we own. We do not need permits to drive what we own. We do not need insurance or to prove financial responsibility unless we damage another persons property. Government may not constiutionally dictate otherwise. Check the tie between government and the insurance industry and you will find the answer to the fraud committed by requiring private citizens to buy insurance.
Then, because States got by with it, political subdivisions with people that often know nothing about law making, the Constitution, the rights of the people, the limits of government, or what the State allows based on the Constitution are elected to the governing body. And, often these people are wannabe Hitlers who like their self-perceived power over the people, authority they in reality do not have.
But, because these people are in government, citizens take the crap they spew out, regardless of the rankness of it. Then, those who do know the limitations suffer when they attempt to stand up to their rights.
And, to top it off, courts being part of the government and often immune to any suits against them, take the side of government. After all, these usually elected officials like the easy work and the potential to screw over people, damning justice to the forgotten past.
Injustice is the name of the game for these people protecting the government they serve. It is supposed to be justice and the people served by the courts but judges even on the municipal level have forgotten that. No matter how dumb or ignorant judges are, the people who know the truth have to keep their mouths shut while confronted with these despots or suffer heavy fines and incarceration.
Because laws which are unconstitutional have been accepted by people not knowing any better, all now suffer from loss of freedom and property to the tune of not less than 50 percent each and every year.
The Gestapo techniques employed by the federal government bled down to State and poltical subdivisions. Judges support the crimes against American citizens and consistently rule against citizens (exactly the opposite of what is required concerning vague and unconstitutionally null and void laws) and even prevent the Constitution being brought up in courts.
Good God, what the devil is the matter with people to allow this? The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land. It is the basis for this country and the rights of the individual which are the rights of all citizens. And to allow a judge to not permit it in the courtroom. Guess that goes to show how far tyranny has advanced.
Because all these tyranny-driven bastards work together to remove rights and to smash those who oppose them through so-called legal means (which means unconstitutional usually), governments continue getting by with it. Impeach a few of them, including judges, city government people, State legislatures, and so on, and justice could be restored.
But, allowing it to continue day after day, generation after generation, only feeds the atrocities done. Then, this results in additional atrocities against liberty and private property of the individual. It is a vicious, vicious cycle and politicians, along with judges and law enforcement, are not going to interrupt it and restore justice but will feed off the perceived power over other people they have.
And, thus, the beast will grow until all liberty is lost. It will feed off its sense of power. That is the nature of the beast As with all beasts, though, it can be stopped. But, it will not happen with apathetic people who would rather give up rights that to fight to restore and/or keep rights. That is also the nature of this beast. Every right given up results in it being easier to give up the next right attacked. Another murderous cycle in the destruction of liberty and this nation as a land of free people.
Put together, the beast rages - and we who love freedom are lost to corrupt governments, law enforcement, and courts. And live in agony that is unimaginable to those who just bow down as servants to governments gone mad.
Not all will bow, though. And, may we pray that this is the beast that will eventually be unleased to attack the other two beasts and beat them into submisison. Freedom cannot be defeated as long as there are people who fight for it. Always, those who could not live without freedom overcame all. Those who have submitted will not understand this any more than they understand the loss of freedom they have suffered when allowing unconstitutional laws be invoked by tyrannical governments.
To never give up is the nature of this beast that feeds on liberty. Consider - there are nearly 6 billion people on Earth who could enter the fray against tyranny of governments if all people outside of government only realized we all want the same - to live our lives without government interference to the maximum our talents and willingness to work hard will allow.
